A Bit About Me
If you already know me, feel free to jump straight to my Graphic Recording Page for work references — or just say hi on LinkedIn. I’m always happy to connect.
And if we haven’t met yet: welcome! I’m really glad you’re here
I’m a graphic recorder and illustrator, and this is my little corner of the internet.
My background is in youth work and strategic project development — which might sound far from graphic recording at first, but actually, it’s deeply connected.
For seven years, I worked at a youth organization as a strategic project developer. My job was to listen to young people, understand their needs, and translate those needs into long-term programs and funding applications. I turned out to be quite good at it — mainly because I’m a natural structurer. I understand complex systems quickly, and once I visualize them, I can explain them in a way that others instantly get.
That skill is exactly what led me to graphic recording.
At its core, graphic recording is about the same thing:
I listen, collect information, filter what truly matters, and then present the essence in a clear, structured, and visually engaging way. Different format — same mindset.
Working with young people is still very close to my heart. I continue to collaborate on youth-related events, and alongside my main work, I co-run a small local nonprofit that supports young people with opportunities and community initiatives. This is a passion project — a side path that keeps me grounded and inspired.
So, where did I learn graphic recording?
Interestingly enough, I didn’t learn graphic recording as such.
I learned facilitation, strategic thinking, and process design — and alongside that, I trained my visual skills continuously. In 2025, I graduated from the Illustration and Comic BA program at Budapest Metropolitan University. I studied there purely out of passion. The program lasted three years, but by that time I had already been working as a graphic recorder for seven years.
I truly believe graphic recording is built on a visual muscle. And just like any muscle, it grows stronger with daily practice. That’s exactly what I do — every day. My illustration studies beautifully complement my graphic recording work, helping me become more precise, expressive, and confident in my visuals.
One last, more personal note:
I’m running this business while being the mom of two little ones. My “me-time” often is work — and I’m genuinely grateful that I get to spend it doing something I love. I don’t really do classic marketing, because I don't have time for that but for now, I’m okay with that. I happily work with returning clients (whom I’m endlessly thankful for), and every year, new collaborations find me — mostly by word of mouth.
Dotidraws is growing slowly, organically, and steadily — and this is the story behind it, and behind me.
